The construction of a new Retail Park for Lidl, Home Bargains and Greggs alongside the construction of the foundations for McDonalds modular unit. Adjacent to the existing Lakeside Retail Park with notable occupiers such as Asda, Peacocks, Home Bargains and Pets at Home.

The scheme was developed in partnership with our client, Legal & General and the project team JLL, AWW, Gleeds, Craddy, JDL Consultants, Calibro Consultants, Amber Management and Engineering Services, New Leaf Sustainable Construction Services and Bureau Veritas Group.

Civil works also included section 278 highway works, drainage including significant site surface water attenuation, site remediation, bulk earthworks, retaining walls and car parking.

The project achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ and an EPC rating of B. This project continues our successful work in the retail construction and civil engineering sector, and follows on from our recently completed Brynmawr Costa Coffee Drive Thru.
