Proud to showcase the successful delivery of Bristol Avonmouth Waste Processing Plant project. The project was developed in partnership with our client Bristol Waste Company and SLR Consulting. This is our second project for BWC, following on from the successful delivery of Hartcliffe Way Household Reuse and Recycling Centre.
Scope of works included:
– Construction of a new 2,160m2 waste processing plant building, structural steel frame and cladding on piled RC foundations, and associated external infrastructure works.
– Storm water, foul water and filter drainage installations site wide, including connections to existing SW and FW drainage.
– Installation of a 1000m³ storm water attenuation tank and associated interceptor units.
Service ducting installations.
– Construction of external reinforced concrete hard-standings and access roads, with associated perimeter kerbing and tarmac footways.
– Electrical installations to the WPP building, including solar panel PV roof-mounted system.
– The WPP building has been developed to accept a fully automated materials recycling facility.
The facility is said to represent “significant progress” for Bristol Waste and its commitment to sustainable waste management solutions for the Southwest.
