Encon had a fantastic evening at the CECA Wales 2024 Dinner and Awards, celebrating the civil engineering industry and honouring its rising stars! As proud sponsors of the Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor 2024 category, we were thrilled to watch our MD, Richard Miles MCIOB, present the award to Rebeca Jones, with a well-earned commendation to Paige Hyde. We were equally proud of our own Daniel Cope who was shortlisted for the Trainee Engineer category. Although he didn’t take home the award, he remains a winner in our eyes, and we see a bright future ahead for him in civil engineering.
A special thanks also to the CECA Wales Foundation Group and Director Edward Evans of CECA Wales for their dedication to promoting civil engineering careers and their commitment to nurturing the next generation. People truly are the foundation of our industry, and events like these allow us to celebrate the brightest talents driving civil engineering forward.
