Great start to the new year with a contract award for Encon Construction! We are pleased to announce that we have been appointed to construct an affordable housing development on the former Cowbridge Grammar School site, on behalf of our client Hafod. Following on from Encon constructing a bat house in 2024 and the demolition of the former school, the next phase of the works will consist of 34 affordable homes – thirty apartments and four houses. The development will be constructed in partnership with our client Hafod, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government and the project team TC Consult Ltd, Pentan Architects, CB3 Consult Ltd and Hicks Titley Partnership Limited.
